ACNE VULGARIS

Severe acne vulgaris with extensive inflammatory face infection after 6 months of antibiotic treatment. Thanks to BIOPTRON Light Therapy, the pores were no longer open. The skin showed less inclination to create new pimples and black dots ceased to form. Finally, the affected pigment spots gradually returned to normal skin colour. Lichen simplex chronicus Vidal (neurodermatitis)

It is a skin disorder characterized by chronic itching and scratching, causing thick, leathery, darkened (lichenified) skin. After 9 months of unsuccessful treatment, the patient was treated with Bioptron Light Therapy for several days. The patient scratched less, because Bioptron Light decreased itch impulses. The global state of the skin was improved and the healing was clearly visible after 4 days of treatment.

Atopic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis is a common inflammatory condition that can compromise our daily life. In this case report, moderate atopic dermatitis was extended on the legs after 20 years of multiple treatments without success. Bioptron Light Therapy was applied during 6 weeks, with fantastic results in the reduction of erythema, including a reduction in pruritus and dehydration, without side-effects or discomfort. Psoriasis (plantaris)

Psoriasis is a common skin disease characterized by dysfunction in the life cycle of skin cells, forming scales and red spots that cause itching and sometimes pain. Bioptron Light Therapy helps to reduce the itch impulses and pain, and contibutes to the regulation of the skin cell cycle, reducing the red spots on the skin covered with thick scales.
